Apart from smocked pajamas and smocked loungewear, baby girls still have a kind of charming dress for sleeping time, it is smocked night dress. Today, I will share some information of Easter night dress. Let’s read!

Night dress

Nightdress for sleeping time is various styles as long as it has loose form. For baby girl, it is designed with long sleeves or short sleeves and widen towards the hem. It is simple and does not have any decorations. Instead, smocked pattern is embroidered securely on the bodice and ruffles are added at neck, hem.  There are always buttons at back for easily putting on and off. With smocked nightdress, your daughter will feel comfortable when moving or sleeping.

Loungewear

Knit loungewear is often made of cotton knit fabric which has elastic ability. It includes a long sleeve shirt and pants. There could be elastic waistband or drawstring in the pants. For its comfortable feature, this garment is usually worn at home or during sleeping time.

Appliqued pattern is a rectangle space setting on the bodice. On Easter, pattern is bunny with carrot and embroidered on the bodice.

In addition, knit loungewear can be worn flexibly in both summer and winter. As mentioned above, knit fabric material is the loungewear material and it could adjust itself following body’s and environment’s temperature.

Longall

A longall is a boy’s one piece outfit that has long pants. It is often designed with sleeveless style; buttons are set on the shoulders and snaps are at crotch for easily dressing. Moreover, smocked pattern is usually embroidered on the horizontal line on the bodice. When wearing hand smocked longalls, your son will be outstanding.

In Fall-winter you also could wear a t-shirt inside in order to keep him warm.

Set

Smocked clothing set is called pants set or 2 piece set which includes top and bottom. Top could be T-shirt, knit shirt, bishop shirt with smocked patterns on the bodice or around the neck. Pants with simple style for boy and pants with beautiful ruffle at hem for girl are made for bottom. Normally, this kind of smocked clothing has matching features with color of bottom. For example: the color of smocked pattern, color of zigzag… When dressing kid’s smocked 2 piece set, it would be comfortably playing.

Two-piece smocked pajama is a two-piece-outfit that has a separate shirt and bottom. The waistline on the pants is usually elastic and some children sometimes find it irritating having that around their stomach. You can let your baby wear them in both summer and winter season depending on the materials and the design of the garment you choose from. For example, long sleeved smocked pajamas that are made of fleece or flannel material will be suitable for winter. Short sleeved smocked pajamas that are made of cotton fabric will be the good choice for summer.

Some notes when storing hand smocked clothes

Hand smocked clothes are beautiful but they are not worn for all seasons. When weather changes, the clothes should be store for next time. But how to store them in the right way is not known by almost people. So today, I will share some tips in storing progress. Let’s read!

• Use plastic container with a lid instead of cardboard
• Place in dry and clean place, not in wet, flammable and dirty place
• Put into some desiccants
• Washout any stain carefully before
• Dry outside in airy place as long as keep smocked clothing colors and get out moisture
• Fold hand smocked clothes for more space in closet.
